I live in central Florida - a small town in the middle of nowhere - where lizards can be spotted everywhere, and alligators can be found in the most unlikely places, such as your pantry. In small towns, you can see criminals’ pictures and addresses in the newspaper. Fortunately, the cops haven’t caught me. Yet. The whole town also celebrates every new store and restaurant opening like it’s a Hollywood premier or something. We just got a new Olive Garden restaurant a couple of weeks ago…haven’t been yet because the place is always packed. By summer, I figure I’ll get in.

I’ve been blogging, actually, since the mid 90s, though never called it a “blog” at the time. It was an online journal on my website. Been using blogging sites for a while now…started over at Blurty, then Livejournal, then Typepad, and now Wordpress on a self-hosted site. At this writing, I’m facing a big learning curve with WP, but I’m sure I’ll get comfortable with it soon enough.
Most of the time, you’ll find my posts shows my inner geekiness and smartass nature. Even when it comes to my major depression, or the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or the bipolar disorder, I try to keep things light. Doesn’t always happen, of course. But hey, this is my blog and I’ll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to.
One thing you can be assured of: I don’t pull posts. Once I’ve written them and published them, that’s it. They’re there to stay.

Chronic lurker (I feel so dirty, popping my comment cherry out here in public… is that normal? hehe) … can’t claim to be one of the cool kids … can however claim to be a fan (except of the roaches, could have done without the roaches eek oh yeah and the ass art, not a fan of ass art, booger art maybe but not ass)You make me LOL at least once a year :)~
