I know, I know, I need to write a recap for Confab last weekend. Just been feeling extremely sluggish ever since I got back home. And now it’s been so long, it seems a recap is too late.
In short, for me, there were lots of great people there and a few new faves. Karaoke, projectile vomiting, amazing hosts in Brad and Turnbaby, top notch food and drinks, beautiful Kentucky scenery, panic attacks, possible dildo sightings, intriguing overheard conversations that you only seem to hear when you’re sober, lots of laughs, Kentucky moonshine, a little drama that I was thankfully not part of, and delightful long road trip conversations with Jill. By the way, she definitely won out on the pee count on the way home. I have the bladder of a 4-year-old, apparently. But all that coffee!
Skipped last week’s radio show because Jill and I were driving all night to Kentucky. But tonight, we’re back with SecondHand Radio!
My guest is an old high school buddy of mine, Gerald Bailey, president of Snakehead Software. Got to hook up with Gerald again a few times when I was in Alamogordo, NM, last month post TequilaCon. He just happened to be in town at the same time and it was great to see him.
Snakehead Software makes iPhone/iPod Touch games, by the way. There’s Flying Aces and iBop and more on the way, which I got to see demos of last month. Cool stuff.
Gerald also makes a mean salsa, from what I hear. And I loves me some salsa!
