Mountain Air, Drunken Revelry, Babes, and Radio
Well, I’m gearing up for nearly a week away from home. At the buttcrack of dawn Friday, I leave my house, drive 90 minutes to the Orlando airport, and then catch a 6:45am flight to Albuquerque, NM, with a brief layover in Dallas/Ft. Worth (my old stomping grounds).
Renting a car once I hit NM, then driving to Santa Fe for TequilaCon to hang with some of my favorite people in the world. Can’t wait.
I’m also quite jazzed because after all the drunken revelry is over, I’ll (eventually) check out of the Santa Fe Hilton on Sunday and drive 4+ hours south to Alamogordo, my even older stomping grounds. That’s where I graduated high school. I’ll be hanging out there for a few days before coming back home, seeing people I’ve known for decades.
Course, before all that, I need to do mounds and mounds of laundry, but still.
And yes, even though I’ll have to get up and leave my house around 4:00 am Friday morning, six hours before that will be another episode of SecondHand Radio!
Look at the Babe Lineup on Thursday night’s show! It’s going to be TWO guests instead of one. Gingersnaps and her talk-show host buddy, Pamela!
Ginger is my Internet girlfriend (or so I fantasize) and Pamela Furr is apparently a hard-core hot conservative talk show host. Who knows WHAT will happen in an hour of free-flowing conversation? Politics? Religion? Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!
Sorry, I got a little excited after seeing the Ghostbusters video game trailer for the Wii, coming in a few months.

Both those pictures are pretty hot – we tuned into the show for about 40 mins but then we lost cell reception and had to bail. We were on our way to TequilaCon, an elite blogger conference that only the best awesome people get to go to. Maybe you should look it up! It’s right up your alley…
