SecondHand Radio – Bellaventa
Thank God for Robin of Bellaventa. She came to my rescue this afternoon when my guest for SecondHand Radio tonight came down with Ebola and had to bow out. Well, ’tis that time of year, so I sent out a tweet that I needed a guest and Robin graciously stepped up to the plate.
I first met Robin in person at TequilaCon, which is where many fine people meet many other fine people for the first time. Then I got to hang with her again – in a cool wig, even – last July for BrittCon.
I hope you’ll join us tonight at 10:00 PM Eastern, 7:00 PM Pacific, where we’ll talk about anything and everything, including how I plan to make her my hot mocha latte. OK, she doesn’t know about that part yet, but still…

But while the shows are great as standalone listens for your daily commute, or just to listen to while you’re skimming the Net, they’re even more fun live because the chatroom is double the fun.

This is just cruel. I have been home dying sick all day and had just decided to go to bed when THIS news pops up? How can I go to bed now? Robin (or Robyn, as I like to call her) is unmissable. I HAVE to tune in now. You really suck, Karl. You could have found some crappy guest to have on tonight so I could go to bed, but you had to go and get ROBYN?!? I won’t forget this… you’ve just been put on notice…

I have no idea why, but evertine I go to listen to any of the talk shows, my laptop freezes up after about 5 minutes and I get booted off. It sucks major ass!

@Blondefabulous, Weird. I don’t know what the problem might be. Perhaps a nice reboot before showtime? Or you can always call in to the show and listen to it on the phone, while I leave you on mute. Or the podcast.
