Hook that puppy up to your dvr, and wherever you are that you have wi-fi, you can connect by IP and watch whatever you’ve got live/recorded at home. My hubs lives in a different state with no cable because he just connects to the dvr we have hooked up at home.

We have the FIOS DVR, we can watch anything that was recorded from any TV in the house. (That was the reason that we paid the early termination fee to have DIrect TV uninstalled). The plus side is my wife can watch her girly shows and I can do my sci-fi on the man cave. I have to admit too that I have come to hate live tv for the same reason as not being able to FF the commercials. Bummer dude.
