Who Needs Sleep?

CONTEST

Don’t forget to leave me your double dog birthday dares on this post. Leave a comment with a dare and you might win a prize. Deadline is Friday at midnight.

FamecrawlerWell, my first week at Famecrawler is already over. Hard to believe. I’m all loopy from a wacky sleep schedule, and sleep deprivation, but slowly learning the ropes. You have added Famecrawler to your feedreaders, right? I’m not saying that I get paid traffic bonuses or anything, but I’d sure appreciate you clicky-clicking on all my stories.

I’m confident that some time this week, I’ll actually get around to someone’s blog other than my own and Famecrawler’s. The feedreader, as always, is coughing and sputtering.

Thank God for my friends. Yesterday, 2HT was doing its own coughing and sputtering and done did died for a while. Long story short, I went insane for a couple of hours and then deactivated all the plugins, reactivating them one at a time and refreshing the blog after each add. It’s back up and running, thanks to Justin, Vahid,  and DutchBitch’s suggestions.

It’s officially September and that means my 42nd birthday is mere weeks away. Meh, I’m not all that jazzed about it, really. I’m sure I won’t be doing anything on the big day. Good thing I have those dares to look forward to.

I’m woefully behind on television, too. And with the new season coming up, I need to head over to the reborn Snackie TeeVee and see what the hell the new schedules are looking like. Surely you heard that Snackie TeeVee is back, no? Head on over there and check it out. It’s all shiny and new-like.

    “Who needs sleep?
    - well you’re never gonna get it
    Who needs sleep?
    - tell me what’s that for”

I feel your pain. About the lack of sleep. I’m too tired to think about anything else.

    I am so tired.
Yet here I sit, alone on the couch, in the dark, with my laptop and a glass of wine (the bottle is almost gone finally), and I wish someone would get up and go out in the kitchen and get me something to eat.
Karl, would you be so kind?

    I will check out Famecrawler.

I’m disturbed that my favorite show is not going to be on NBC at first this fall. It’s only going to be on DirectTV 101 or some shit. That’s stupid if you ask me and I have DirectTV. I hate when they do stupid shit like that.

I’m glad you got your blog back in order.

It’s hard for me to get jazzed up about tv since we don’t have cable. I think we get two channels and they’re both fuzzy.

Sleep is soooo underrated. So you are actually going to consider doing dares we leave here? You are a brave man. I’d say shave your hair but that’s so, so, June 2008. How about bleaching your hair blonde and then coloring it bright, Kool-aid Red???

Penny – You recognize the reference. That’s hot.

Stephanie – Be glad to get you something. :)

Hilly – Yes, it’s an odd creature called a “baby.”

Shelli – What? What show is that?

    Sarah – Me too.

Stacey – That would make me insane.

Lisa – You need to leave the dares on the post I linked to above. But hmmm, that’s an interesting one.

    Becky – Thanks!

Friday Night Lights. It will be on DirectTV 101 for the first part of the season and then they are moving it back to NBC. Of course those people who don’t have DirectTV will be left out. I suppose they will be able to watch online, but still. I think it is stupid when they do that stuff.

You’ll have time to sleep AFTER the fame bus has run over you and you’re rolling in the $$$ in the aftermath.

Or next Teusday. Whichever comes first.

Hope I did more help than harm on helping you get things up and running. Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

Shelli – I’ve never HEARD of such a ridiculous thing!

    DutchBitch – Me, too!

Anissa – Really looking forward to next Tuesday, then.

Iron Fist – You helped, thanks. I don’t know what caused it, but I deactivated all the plugins, then added them back one by one. Came back up after that.

I wasn’t sure if you were referencing it, but as soon as I saw the title it immediately popped into my head.
