I am so tired that it really goes beyond words. Since I’ve gotten to Karlifornia, I’ve had much lower than the Daily Recommended Allowance of Sleep. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been having fun. I just have nothing to give in a post. Yet here I go to attempt to do the last several days some justice.
Never mind. It’s going to be mostly pictures. I’ll write something more rational in a couple of days. This was Pea Soup Andersen’s, which Hilly and I stopped at on the long drive to the Bay Area.
That’s me: Hap-Pea.
One of the waitresses, by the way? Very, very cute.
Some of my adoring fans on the way up.
Right, so we got up to Jester’s house around 3 or so on Thursday. Then a bunch of us went out to this place in Berkeley called Fondue Freds. There’s Jerry and Snackie.
There’s Michael, Paul, Hilly, Jerry, and Ruben.
These were the birthday girls sitting at the next table from us.
Then we drove to San Francisco and went to the People’s Party at BlogHer. Where I was pretty much instantly terrified. Normally, on Thursday night it’s a more mellow scene because the Masses haven’t arrived yet. Not any more.
Mob central. And I wasn’t in a very good state of mind. But I still ran across a number of people like Suebob!
And Kristen of Motherhood Uncensored. Grrrrrowl. This woman is just more and more gorgeous every time I see her. If she ever decides to leave her husband, I’m on her like white on rice.
There they were, sitting around at the People’s Party with our $8 beers because we got there too late to get drink tickets.
One of Monty’s and my many making out sessions during the weekend.
Me at Sesame Street. It was pretty cool. They had Grover and the guy who does the puppetry/voice there, filming videos and stuff. And what’s her name? Abby Dabby? I’m not down with the new characters on SS these days.
So I pretty much left early every night at BlogHer. Didn’t go to the evening parties. Friday I left after a few sessions and went with the Gay Mafia to go to one of Jester’s gigs at some yacht club. But we didn’t stay long because Hilly was feeling sick.
There’s Uncle Monkey Boy and Jester, sitting outside after sound check.
There’s Hilly, trying to make it up to Paul that we were leaving early.
There’s me and The Michelin Man at BlogHer.
This is yet another woman whose husband I want to knock off so I have a shot. Wendy, by the way.
Gman and me.
Hilly and Foo. Grrrowwwwl again.
This…well. Yeah. What can I say?
You don’t go to Jester’s house unless you like animals. And when I say “like animals” I mean you should be prepared for an onslaught unseen since Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. Dogs, cats, birds, snakes, I think he had a chinchilla in there, too, maybe even a naked molerat or two.
There was MUCH alcohol and Rock Band.
So yeah, Hilly and I are back home now. It’s not even 9:00 and we’re both dragging. After drinking every night to excess (though not to WJP excess) and sleeping NOT to excess and eating far too much food and going back and forth to San Francisco for BlogHer by day and Fairfield by night, and then driving ANOTHER 8 hours in the car today…we’re beat.
I’m too lazy to even insert the proper links. I’ll get to it later. Or not. So sue me. I’m going to bed.

Oh no.
Oh no you didn’t.
The exhaustion you get from having fun is the best kind of tired to be! It looks like you had sooo much fun!
I totally miss making out with you. Plus also, it made all my friends jealous.
So, bonus.
xoxoxoxoxoxo
OK…someone on Twitter suggested I find you after my Friday morning freak out, and while I was in the Introverts session … and so I started to follow you on twitter and immediately fell in love with your wit. I am now kicking myself for not freaking you out by running up to you and introducing myself.
No links? How in the hell am I supposed to know who any of these people are?
Looks like a fun, tiring weekend. And now you’ve got a fun, exhausting weekend coming up!
You’re have more fun than is legal in most states. Stop it! Or next time, invite me.
Hilly is so pretty! And you’re not bad yourself, Karl.

Hot chicks at The Westin, Rock Band, alcohol and lots of pics to prove Karl was at BlogHer. Sounds like a fun time was had by all.

Evil Genius - Loads and loads of fun.

Or something. i don’t know - I’ve been drinking!
Anyway, I like the pictures! Glad you had fun!
Sybil - I was both exhausted and hyped. Wouldn’t have thought that possible, but it is.
