As a cricket fan, I love your description of a 3 month game of cricket. It reminds me of a Canadian friend who expressed a similar notion that he just didn’t get cricket. It went something along the lines of “they play for 5 days and it still ends in a draw”. For what it’s worth, I don’t really get baseball. It seems far too simplistic after cricket.

Stacey – I’ve traveled a lot and the horror stories are relatively few and far between. This was certainly one of the worst for me.
