SecondHand Radio: Vahid from Iron Fist
Whew, glad I can talk again. Wasn’t easy not Twittering all day, believe me. I thought I was in control of my Twitter habits. Apparently not. But I made it just fine. And don’t let the itching and twitching convince you otherwise.
I went to see “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” yesterday. Had to. The first one just cracked my ass up. The sequel was good, but not AS good (naturally). I did more quiet laughing on the inside than outward guffaws. Still, Neil Patrick Harris rocked it, though I don’t think he’ll be in any future installments. I won’t say any more about it than that. It’s worth a matinee, not full price. Definitely worth a dollar theater, if you have such things in your neighborhood and you can bare to wait a couple of months till it leaves the first-run theaters.
Today I’m going to Orlando to go to Sea World and use those tickets I “won.” Haven’t been there since my girls were two or three. Ought to be fun.
And tomorrow will be another episode of SecondHand Radio. Starts at 5pm Eastern time. Clicking on the link there will automatically calculate your time zone and tell you what time the show starts for you. You can also set up automatic email reminders so you’ll get a note an hour before the show (or whatever timeframe you want to be reminded in).
My special guest star this week is Vahid from Iron Fist. I met Vahid last year at TequilaCon (and this year’s TC is less than a week away!) and didn’t spend nearly enough time hanging with him. He’s a voracious reader (as am I when my ADD isn’t kicking my ass), a lover of science fiction, and a purveyor of exotic barnyard pornography. Well, I’m not sure about that last one, actually.
We’ll talk about all sorts of geeky goodness, including books, sci-fi, maybe comics, movies, and TequilaCon. He’s one smart fellow and really easy to talk to. I hope you’ll join us for an hour Sunday afternoon.

Since I got my BTR account all fixed up (most of it was my confusion on my user name), I should be able to show up for this, at least in the chat room and then listening along.
