Just a reminder that I’ll be Hilly’s first cohost on the newly inaugurated Snackie Radio today. Less than three hours to go, the show starts at noon Pacific time…that’s 3pm Eastern time. That’s like, um, 8pm England time, I think.

Thanks to Hilly for calling in and helping me with the test show for SecondHand Radio. Everything went fine, without a hitch, so we’re all set for the initial show next weekend. I think I’m going to go for a Sunday show, since that seems to be what most people asked for in the poll last week.

SecondHand Radio will run next Sunday for an hour. Yeah, an hour terrifies me, but hopefully it’ll go by very fast, like ripping off a band-aid. There’s a call-in number if you’d like to talk with me live - 646-716-9370 - I’ll list it again later this week. There’s also a built-in chat room, which you can enter during the show. Not sure what time I’ll do the show yet…I’m thinking 1pm Eastern.

Hilly is running Snackie Radio at 3pm Eastern time, 12 noon Pacific. Mr. Fab also does his show on Sundays, at night. As Hilly says, "Guess we’ll all just sit at our computers all day on Sunday."

Speaking of Snackie Radio, Hilly’s first show is tomorrow…again, 3pm Eastern. And I’m her first guest, so if you’re dying to know what sorts of conversations Hilly and I have together, tune in tomorrow. I’m sure we’ll discuss some reality TV, along with Hilly’s preferred sexual positions. And she’ll be taking calls, too, so you can call in and chat with us both. Who knows what can happen in an hour’s time?

She’s also looking for future cohosts, so you can check with her on her blog if you’re interested in helping out with future shows. And I’ll be looking for cohosts, too, so let me know if you’re dying to be on SecondHand Radio.

I’d recommend clicking on the above radio links. You can actually set reminders for various radio shows you’re into…that way you get an e-mail to remind you when the shows are ready to start.

I get tagged for memes every once in a while and I have no aversion to filling them out, since they often seem to come during times when I’m feeling creatively tapped out. This one comes from Black Belt Mama, someone I have a hard time saying no to on the best of days. Hey, she could totally kick my ass, even with her bum leg.

So here are the rules:

1) Link to the person who tagged you.
2) Post the rules.
3) Share six non-important things / habits / quirks about yourself.
4) Tag at least three people.
5) Make sure the people you tagged KNOW you tagged them by commenting that you did.

Right, I’ve done memes like this before, but I’ll attempt to come up with six items I haven’t covered before.

1. I very rarely do any chatting online. It’s not that I don’t enjoy it for a while, but when I start getting multiple chat requests per second, I become quickly overwhelmed. This isn’t to say you’ll NEVER see me online…but here’s a hint if you’re looking to catch me. I pretty much stick to Google Talk. Or Twitter, that’s the most reliable way (aside from e-mail) to find me.
2. I hate celery. Yuck. Doesn’t matter how you prepare it, or what sort of amazing dip you’ve made for those nasty little sticks. I don’t like it.
3. Lately, I’m totally addicted to the song "Kiss Me Again (Stuttering)" by Ben’s Brother. I listen to it every time I get in my car.
4. I prefer a cloudy rainy day to sunshine any day of the week.
5. I’m often perplexed by the old phrase "Men don’t make passes at women in glasses." Total bullshit as far as I’m concerned. I DIG women in glasses, think they’re hot.
6. I totally get off on getting women off. Not that I remember what that’s like at the moment.
