Birthday Dare 4: Public Buttons

Wasn’t feeling too good yesterday, so the fourth video had to be postponed until now. Today’s dare is from Black Belt Mama. She’s been begging me to do this for a while, but I’m not all that familiar with the song (which will quickly become obvious).

This was filmed this very morning and I’m still freaking out. You can see how little I was concentrating on my moves. That’s because I was much more focused on my environment.

Enjoy. Tomorrow will be the last Birthday Dare.

Oh Karl! I just want to give you a big hug for doing this! I wouldn’t be comfortable at all doing that. The fact that you did it wins you big points in my book! Was that a half hour long song or what?

Gee. Vienna Sausages, Pop Rocks, and Coke Blak? I wonder what could possibly be causing you to feel under the weather? :-)

Karl, I feel bad! You looked so freaked out as you scanned the parking lot. You are a trooper for moving completely out of your genre and comfort zone. I never realized how loooooonnnggg that song is either! If it’s any consolation, you looked totally hot with your hat and shades!

Feel better and Happy Happy Birthday!

Okay, Thank God your okay, I was freaking thinking you were hurt or in jail. That was great, I wouldn’t be able to do that in a million years! You are one of the very few people who look good with a hat on backwards, usually it drives me nuts, but you rock it!

Everybody – thanks. Yeah, that was the longest song in the freaking WORLD! And hey, I did it without any anti-anxiety meds, too. No fancy edits this time…One take and I was outta there!

I have never in my life heard this song from beginning to end…I wasn’t missing much though because it is the same thing over and over and over…wow, that song was long. I loved the “strip tease”. That had to be the most daring of the dares so far. Did you get any crazy looks?

You know, back when I used to do the goofy audio posts, I thought I had guts.

    I was wrong.

You, my friend. You have got guts.

    Oh.
    My.
    God.

    I am seriously cracking up!

My favorite part is when you kind of stop dancing and start fiddling with your hands and glancing around, presumably because someone has driven into the parking lot.

DYING! You have really outdone yourself.

Karl, I think this dare was scarier than skydiving. You’re crazy! If I didn’t live 1000 miles away, I would definitely buy you a birthday drink.

    TOO. FUNNY. Loved it!

You poor thing. That was a long song! What were you doing there, picking your cuticles at one point? Or jotting the words to the chorus down so you’d remember them? I couldn’t figure it out.

I think the Rump Shaker move was the best part!

    You TEASE!

Was looking around as if you were afraid to “loosin up your buttons” just you “frontin” for the video?

You will do anything for us, won’t you.

Bravo!! I would have liked to see some Saturday Night Fever moves happenin’ there or maybe just some Cabbage Patch or Running Man or Tootsie Roll?

I think you need to be closer to the street. ;-)

You have no shame, do you?

Why do you keep looking around? Afraid someone might see you? Ha ha ha.

    Good taste in beer, though.
